This page contains information for athletes after the event.

After you Finish

Place your ChampionChip and Velcro strap into the clearly marked bins. If you don’t return your ChampionChip you won’t get to know your personal time, and where you came in the race so make sure you remember!

The Finish Area

If you feel unwell after you cross the line or need medical attention go straight to the medical area which will be clearly signposted. Do not re-trace your steps through the finish area – this is a one-way system and you’ll run the risk of being hurt.

Family Reunion

Meet back up with your family in the reunion area, located near Nelson’s Monument. Look out for signs with letters of the alphabet – your family will be waiting to greet you at the area labelled with the first letter of your surname. So if your surname is Wallace look under ‘W’ and if it is Ali look under ‘A’.

Race results

A personalised certificate will be posted to you within six weeks. It shows your name, position and time as measured by ChampionChip.

There will also be the opportunity to view the results on our website www.runglasgow.org and in an Evening Times supplement a day or two after the race.

Remember – there will be prizes for the first three in each age category for both boys and girls. However, only prizes for the first three boys and girls overall will
be presented on the day. The other prizes will be posted out after the race.
