Frequently Asked Questions

Here are the answers to a series of commonly asked questions regarding your entry and about the day of the event.

When is the race and where does it take place?

The races will take place on Saturday 4th September 2010, the day before the senior event.

Both the Junior 3k and 1.5k will start and finish within Glasgow Green. It’s completely up to you which race you enter, depending on your age and level of ability. For example, if you are a beginner or at the lower end of the entry age scale (9-17), you may want to do the shorter distance first and attempt the 3k next year.

The 3k course is just over 1.9 miles long or the equivalent of running round Hampden Stadium seven times! The 1,500m is half the distance, so the same as running round Hampden Stadium three and a half times!
