Woodland Running

Why not vary your training with off road running in a more natural environment?

In addition to regular running benefits such as improved fitness levels and potential weight loss, trail running is also less stressful on the joints than running on pavements and concrete. Matched with beautiful outdoor settings, Trail Running is something for all runners to consider!

MIDWEEK SESSIONS

6 week courses which will run through Mugdock Country Park and the beginning of the West Highland Way route.

Day: Wednesdays
Time: 7.30pm
Venue: Meeting at Milngavie Railway Station
Block 1: 12th May – 16th June
Block 2: 23th June – 28th July
Block 3: 4th August – 9th September
Cost: £25/£18 Network Members

WEEKEND COURSES

Each course will visit four different locations which gradually progress in distance and difficulty. Venues include Pollok Park, Lynn Park, Mugdock Park and Carron Valley and full details will be confirmed nearer the start date of each course. Transport will be provided for some locations along with a celebratory lunch at the end of each
course!
