Pushy Parents
Calling all parents with little ones in prams! Looking to get active but don’t have childcare? Then this is for you!
Get fit in the park and meet other new parents behind the wheel of your pram. These sessions are adapted to the needs of new parents which allow you to stay active with your baby in tow! They combine brisk walking and jogging with stretching and toning exercises and lots of fresh air.
Pushy Parents classes start with a moderate warm up walk, moving into a power walk or run and light aerobics to raise your heart rate. Each class includes group exercises selected to strengthen and tone specific muscle groups and help new mums cope with the demands of motherhood. Classes finish with a cool down and stretch. Most of all the sessions are fun!!
Please book directly at the venue of your choice. Classes last from 45-60 minutes.

Pushy Parents is a great way to get fit after your new arrival. Taking exercise elevates mood and it can help keep the baby blues at bay. Being outdoors is refreshing and the support of the group helps to increase confidence. The structure of the sessions allows those taking part to chat to each other and make new friends.
New mums can join as soon as they have had their post natal check. Wear layers of clothes and a good pair of trainers or walking shoes. Come prepared for rain and don't forget to wrap your baby up nice and warm too! Feed your baby before coming to the class and bring along some water/drink for both of you. Then just bring your baby in your buggy and you are ready to go!
