Pasta Party Fun Runs

Each year prior to the Ignis Asset Management Women's 10K, the Glasgow Running Network hold a Pasta Party & Fun Run in preparation for the event. Last year we teamed up with the award winning Italian Restaurant Group, Di Maggio's and also held a Pasta Party prior to the Bank of Scotland Great Scottish Run.

We will be holding two great events again in 2012 in preparation for the above races.

Starting at Di Maggio's Royal Exchange Square, we run 2 miles through Glasgow City Centre, passing by many iconic landmarks and finishing up at Di Maggio's Theatreland on West Nile Street. Each runner receives a delicious plate of pasta, soft drink and dessert. There are free massages, entertainment and prizes available on the night too!

The Pasta Party Fun Run is a great way to celebrate the hard work everyone has put in over the previous weeks preparing for the races. It's also a great opportunity to meet other runners and ask any last minute questions about the big day. It's very much a fun, social night out that helps everyone relax and look forward to the race together.
