Information for Runners on the day of the race
START TIME
The Resolution Asset Management Women’s 10k starts at 10am on Nithsdale Road. Please plan your journey and ensure you are there in plenty of time. A mass warm-up will begin at 9.30am.
PULSE START
Due to the ever-increasing number of runners taking part, there will be a colour-coded Pulse Start. This means the race start will be staggered with 6 colour-coded groups starting one after the other with short time gaps between each. This will ensure that congestion on the route is reduced and please note this will not affect your finish time as ChampionChip is activated only by crossing the start mat. There will be colour-coded balloon arches and officials to help you – if in doubt, please ask. The colour coding is as follows:
Sub 40-49 minutes White
50-54 minutes Purple
55-59 minutes Yellow
60-64 minutes Blue
65-90 minutes Green
90+ minutes Orange
PLEASE NOTE: It is essential that you assemble in the marshalling position corresponding to the colour of your running number.
MEDICAL INFORMATION
Careful preparation for the 10k is very important. If you have not trained for the event or have recently had a cold or other illness, then please do NOT start the race. If you have not notified the 10k Hotline of any medical condition or illness on your entry form, please call 0845 270 0166 to update your information. To assist our medical team, please also put a cross on the front of your race number and write the details on the back.
