Road closures
All residents and businesses around the route of the Ignis Asset Management Women's 10k will receive a letter regarding road closures and access/egress. For specific enquiries relating to road closures for residents/businesses please contact 0141 302 2818 or e-mail runglasgow@glasgowlife.org.uk

Free Subway
Take the stress out of your journey! Leave your car at home and use the free shuttle bus
and Subway service!
The Subway will open at 8am on Sunday 13th May. Use the free Subway Voucher
enclosed in your race pack to exchange for a maximum of 4 return journey tickets from
any Subway station ticket office. Then take the Subway to Shields Road or Buchanan
Street (for Cochrane Street service) and use the free shuttle bus service to the Start Line.

Free Shuttle Bus Service To Start
A free shuttle bus service will start at 7.30am from Cochrane Street, off George Square
(Glasgow City Centre) and from Shields Road Subway station. This service will drop
all runners, family and friends at the Start Line. You are advised to allow 1 hour for this
journey as there will be demand for this service and queues are expected.
No vouchers are required to use the free shuttle bus service.
If you would prefer to walk from Shields Road, it will take you approximately 25 minutes
to walk the 1.5km to the Start Line and the route is clearly signposted.
Your Return Shuttle Bus Service
The free shuttle bus service will resume at 11.30am, from Dumbreck Road to both
Cochrane Street (off George Square in Glasgow City Centre) and Shields Road Subway
station. Buses will aim to complete the return journey in approximately 30 minutes
for Cochrane Street (George Square) and 20 minutes for Shields Road Subway station.
