Teams

There’s nothing like team spirit! Many women choose to enter as part of a team with friends, family or colleagues.

The Ignis Asset Management Women’s 10k is renowned for it’s great atmosphere and crowd support so entering as part of a team is not only a great way to keep each other motivated during training, it is also a great bonding exercise!

In 2010 there will be three team challenges:

Corporate Challenge – open to companies, charities and community groups
Family Challenge – open to family teams
Scottish Athletics team challenge – open to Scottish Athletics members in teams

This year there will be rewards for the top team in each Challenge group in the form of trophies to be awarded. Now wouldn’t one of those look nice in your work, mantelpiece or club house bar?!

Teams must consist of a minimum of 4 entrants in one race distance but there is no maximum number of entrants. Winners will be calculated on the basis of the finishing positions of your top 4 runners.

Family and Corporate Challenge teams must contact the Race Hotline before submitting an entry to be allocated with a unique team number. SAL teams do not need to call but must specify SAL membership numbers and affiliated club when registering.
